Florida Expedites 50,000 CCW permits for Veterans and Active Military
Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam announced that the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has stated that he is planning to expedite Florida concealed weapon license applications for active military members and veterans.

Sen Wilton Simpson has sponsored senate bill 1500 this year which proposes that the current restriction on airports for Florida concealed carry holders be removed to allow permit holders to be armed when visiting non-secure areas of the airport.
